Welcome to OES Spotlight!
Education: I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Memphis and a master's degree in education from Ole Miss. I also have specialty certifications in gifted education, journalism, secondary English, and library media specialist.
Experience: This is my 22nd year of teaching! This is my tenth year to teach Spotlight at Overpark Elementary, and I have the best job in the world!
Personal: I have been married for 24 years, and my wonderful husband and I have two beautiful daughters, 19-year-old Zoe and 13-year-old Mia.
1 plastic folder with pockets and brads (Label front with 1st and last name. No binders please)
1 standard size pencil/art box. Please label with 1st and last name and fill with the following:
Thin markers, colored pencils, or crayons (your child can choose their favorite)
Small pencil sharpener
1 pack of notebook paper

Spotlight Weekly Schedule
Mondays: 2nd grade (Taylor/Ewing/Richardson/Loggins)
Tuesdays: 2nd grade (Bright), 3rd grade (Stuard/Elliot)
Wednesdays: 3rd grade (Manues/Pace/Tinker)
Thursdays: 4th grade
Fridays: 5th grade
Spotlight information packets and t-shirt order forms were sent home in class folders August 20. They were also mailed to virtual learners.
